Education Horizons is delighted to announce the launch of our inaugural Australian Advisory Board.

Education Horizons has brought together a remarkable group of Australian education leaders to help shape our support and advocacy for Australian schools – and for the power of technology to drive student outcomes.

The Board is led by Chair:

Chris Wardlaw who also serves as Chair of the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority and Deputy Chair of the Australian Institute of Teaching and School Leadership.

Chris is supported by members:

1. Dr. Amy Scholes Chair of the College of Clinical Neuropsychologists at the Australian Psychological Society

2. Allan Dougan  CEO of the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers

3. David Ensor Chair of the School of Education Advisory Board at the University of South Australia, and Director of External Relations at the SA Department for Education

4. Mark Cameron CEO of W3.Digital, author and certified Experience Economy Expert

Education Horizons’ Advisory Board convened its first meeting in April where members explored the impacts of COVID-19 on education in Australia. Discussion included the potential for education technology to move beyond a tool for managing disruption, and become a constant enabler of great student outcomes.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO INTRODUCING OUR INDIVIDUAL ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS IN THE COMING WEEKS – AND TO SHARING THE BOARD’S DISCUSSIONS AND INSIGHTS IN GREATER DETAIL.

Education Horizons welcomes these remarkable Australian leaders to our inaugural Australian Advisory Board and we look forward to working with them to drive great student outcomes.
