Kings’ Education, based in the United Arab Emirates, is a prestigious group of schools based across three campuses in the UAE – Dubai, Al Barsha and Nad Al Sheba. The school educates over 4200 children, ranging in age from 2-18 years old, from over 70 nationalities, who study the British curriculum. It uses our Engage MIS at the heart of its school management.

Moving to a centralised school system

Kings Education had no formal system in place for capturing student data and it was using spreadsheets to bridge the gap. Communication with parents was also problematic, with teachers using Microsoft Teams and email to share information with parents. Finding a better way to engage with the whole school community was essential.

The identified solution was a centralised school management system to handle all three campuses. Implementing Engage meant that Kings Education could move from using multiple spreadsheets with data silos to a fully integrated data-rich system with a single source of truth.

It instantly makes working together simpler, efficient and more effective.

Important student data can now be captured and reported to monitor student performance and improve student outcomes. The Engage Parent Portal‘s functionality has also helped centralise and change how Kings’ Education communicates with parents.

Our teachers really value the functionality of the Engage parent portal and how easy it is to communicate in real time with parents about their children’s progress, activities and parent’s evenings.

Gearing for school population expansion

Experts are projecting that the population of the UAE will surge to 5.8m by the year 2040, and school student numbers could grow to 550,000.
